Lead-DBS
Lead-DBS is an open source toolbox to model deep brain stimulation electrodes in the human brain now implementing this 100 micron MRI dataset in standard MNI space.
100 MICRON MRI (AXIAL) This is a 100 micron resolution magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan of an ex vivo human brain specimen. The brain specimen was donated by a 58-year-old woman who had no history of neurological disease and died of non-neurological causes. Her family provided written informed consent. We imaged her brain for 5 days continuously on a 7 Tesla MRI scanner using a custom-built 31-channel receive array coil. The images shown here are from a synthesized FLASH25 volume. A detailed description of the synthesized FLASH25 volume is provided in the manuscript associated with this dataset, in the "MRI data processing" subsection of the Methods: https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/649822v1
100 MICRON MRI (CORONAL) This is a 100 micron resolution magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan of an ex vivo human brain specimen. The brain specimen was donated by a 58-year-old woman who had no history of neurological disease and died of non-neurological causes. Her family provided written informed consent. 100 MICRON MRI (SAGITTAL) This is a 100 micron resolution magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan of an ex vivo human brain specimen. The brain specimen was donated by a 58-year-old woman who had no history of neurological disease and died of non-neurological causes. Her family provided written informed consent.
